Tool-making

Our tool-making workshop produces high-precision tools, using top-quality steel, up-to-date techniques for heat treatment, and surface finishing, as well as incorporating standard components from leading manufacturers. Together with our engineering department, we design and produce stamping and forming tools for visible components, progressive compound tools and injection-moulding tools along with the appropriate handling equipment.

We provide testing procedures for the tools in our production department along with mould-flow analysis and numerical simulation techniques for injection-moulding tools. When required, we create one-off testing equipment to ensure that quality remains continuously high during serial production.

Development and Engineering

Our experienced designers and engineers create and implement the wishes and ideas of our customers on schedule and cost-effectively – from single components and assemblies through to complete appliances. Our development department designs ready-for-production components and assemblies, which ensures an optimised workflow. We conduct analyses to identify potential for improvement and study various constructional options and the degree of flexibility.

Bonding Technology

Alongside classical bonding techniques, industrial bonding technology in the field of metal processing represents an important pillar within the range of our technological spectrum, as it enables us to combine the most diverse of materials in all possible variations with each other, e.g. metal-glass, synthetics-glass, metal-synthetics. Our equipment is of the highest technical standard and in many cases is automated, enabling us to achieve perfect, reproducible results.

Our processes use:

  • 1K-adhesives applied manually or robot-assisted
  • 2K-adhesives in robotic systems with high-end dosage technology
  • Adhesive tapes applied manually and/or robot-assisted
  • Stamping-bonding support equipment with unique technology for perfect positioning and pressing
  • Surface pre-treatment depending on the application using adhesive primer, flame treatment, plasma or pyrosil
  • Quick drying using heat, infrared or UV radiation
