Production: Stamping without foil
GRONBACH Wasserburg innovates the stamping process without direct foil application. The starting point for the development was the problem of manual removal of protective films from metals and the resulting more cost-intensive production of metal components in the visual range in series production. In the conventional process, the stamp is pressed onto the workpiece on the pre-foiled raw coil in order to produce the corresponding shape or surface. In the next step, an additional employee at the factory or on the customer’s side had to remove the protective film . Sometimes adhesive residues remained on the surface or the removal itself turned out to be a not inconsiderable time and quality factor.
The innovation ” stamping without foil ” completely avoids the removal of the protective foil.
